Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-09-24. Applies to www.varcommerce.com and its subdomains operated by VARCommerce, Inc. ("VARCommerce", "we").

What this policy covers

This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website or contact us through it, how we use that information, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It does not cover the VARCommerce software platform itself; use of the platform is governed by the customer agreement between VARCommerce and your company.

Information you give us

When you request a demo, contact our team, or download a document, we ask for your name, company, email address, phone number, and a description of what you need. The demo form also asks about the systems you use (accounting, CRM, tax) and the type of customers you serve so we can prepare a relevant demonstration. We only collect what you type into the form.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs. Our web server records the IP address, requested page, referring page, browser type, and time of each request. Logs are used for security and troubleshooting.
  • Bot protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans from automated scripts. Turnstile may set a cookie and processes limited technical data about your browser. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
  • Analytics. We use, or may use, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our marketing. These tools use cookies and similar identifiers and may record pages viewed, approximate location, device information, and interactions such as clicks and scrolling. Where required by law we ask for your consent before these tools run.

How we use information

  • To respond to your request, schedule a demo, and follow up about VARCommerce.
  • To send you information about VARCommerce that you asked for. You can opt out of marketing email at any time by replying or using the unsubscribe link.
  • To operate, secure, and improve this website.
  • To measure the effectiveness of our website and marketing.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

We use service providers who process data on our behalf and under our instructions: Microsoft (email and business systems), SendGrid by Twilio (delivery of form notifications), Cloudflare (bot protection), Google and Microsoft (analytics), and LinkedIn (advertising measurement). Form submissions are stored in our email and customer relationship management systems. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, and in connection with a merger or sale of the business.

Retention

We keep form submissions and related correspondence for as long as we have a business relationship or a reasonable prospect of one, and then delete or anonymize them. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's settings, typically 2 to 26 months.

Your choices and rights

  • You can browse this site without submitting any form.
  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Analytics providers also offer opt-outs, for example the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
  • You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it, by emailing support@varcommerce.com. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have these rights by statute; we honor them for everyone. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Children

This website is intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are verified for automated abuse and transmitted to us over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date. Material changes will be highlighted here.
